This is a Designer role that will focus on web-based platforms, including dot-coms, tools, and other interactive products.
Your work will include both UX and UI design, crafting work that is as effective as it is beautiful. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class solutions for our clients. Our ideal candidate is a skilled and passionate designer with a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, a modern aesthetic, and a history of crafting pixel-perfect digital platforms.
- Develop wireframes, user flows, and prototypes that represent the user experience journey.
- Validate design concepts through testing and iterate based on user feedback and analytics insights.
- Craft high-fidelity visual designs that are on-brand and engaging, and translate them into effective design systems and style guides.
- Ensure all designs consider accessibility, usability, and responsive behaviors across devices.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution; work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
- Present to internal stakeholders and incorporate feedback accordingly.
- Support the creation of UX strategy artifacts such as sitemaps, information architecture, and user journeys.
- Stay abreast of emerging design trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements
3+ years of experience in a design role, preferably at a digital agency, and a strong portfolio showcasing relevant UX and UI design work for large-scale digital platforms.

This is a full-time position at our office in downtown Norfolk, Virginia, where we’ve adopted a hybrid approach to work — with three days per week in the office and two remote, plus the option to work fully remotely for up to two months out of the year. Grow offers paid relocation to the Norfolk-Virginia Beach region as well as temporary housing for selected candidates.
